EUDR limbo: What action should business take now to prepare amidst regulatory uncertainty?

In the midst of EUDR uncertainty, businesses across agricultural supply chains have been left in a state of limbo. The decision to delay was ultimately not much of a surprise given the mounting pushback from certain stakeholder groups. But a delay in itself doesn’t appease those underlying concerns. Nor does it provide the clarity that business has been seeking. 

 

In this session, we’ll take a look at the future of the EU’s Deforestation Regulation. We’ll assess what the delay means for future changes, adoption and compliance, whilst asking what business can do now to ensure they’re prepared for a second time around.
