The EU Vision: What really needs to change to place farmers at the heart of food systems?

11:15 - 12:00
The EU has a Vision. A Vision for Agriculture and Food that has a much greater focus on farmers. Having stepped back from some of the commitments under Farm to Fork, the latest in EU agricultural policy is more farmer-centric and focused heavily on building trust and engagement. Sounds good on paper, but how does that translate to business reality?

This session will assess what all this means for farmers, for supply chains and for business. Both now, and in the future. We’ll assess the latest developments and shifts in EU agricultural policy, and debate the right balance between incentives, investments and regulation to drive future sustainability and resilience.
