Too often, ambitious policies fail to deliver tangible benefits to the people who rely on them most. In this dynamic, interactive brainstorming session, we’ll flip the script by inviting the audience—ranging from farmers to policy experts—to share their insights and proposed solutions for creating policies that truly serve the needs of those on the ground. A small panel of experts will respond to key insights on how policies can better support farmers and avoid becoming a regulatory burden. Together, we will:
Examine the current policy landscape to identify gaps in practical support for farmers
Engage with farmers and industry leaders to explore ways of aligning policy goals with on-the-ground realities
Strategize actionable steps for transforming policy into resources that genuinely aid and empower farmers
This collaborative approach aims to produce a collection of policy insights, which will be published and shared with attendees. By capturing the perspectives of those directly impacted, we can inform public policy positions that add real value to farmers and stakeholders across the agriculture industry.
