Malaysia is considering introducing duties on waste-based oil exports, the Malaysian palm oil board (MPOB) said to Argus today. The potential export duties would apply to specific waste-based oils such as used cooking oil (UCO) and palm oil mill effluent (Pome) oil. MPOB did not provide specifics on possible duty rates.
