Leveraging regulation: Inter-industry insights for a new era of reporting and due diligence in fashion

12:15 - 13:00
Fashion has one of the most global supply chains, with intricate networks spanning continents. For decades, an ambiguous supply chain has been the norm. Supply Chain Brain highlights that only 19% of fashion companies report full visibility into their value chain—and even that visibility is often incomplete.

These networks are now under heightened scrutiny, driven by a wave of new regulations aimed at increasing transparency and reducing environmental and social impact. From the EU’s Digital Product Passport (DPP) requirements to the proposed New York Fashion Act, brands are feeling the pressure to prioritize compliance over creative, sustainability-driven initiatives.  While the rapid emergence of regulations may feel like whiplash, fashion is not alone. Other global industries have faced similar waves of requirements and found ways to transform these challenges into opportunities for innovation.

In this session, we’ll hear from a range of cross-industry experts on the following:

  • Global matrix: Understand how federal, state, and EU policies align and intersect to shape the environmental and social regulatory landscape.
  • Business Transformation: Strategies for embedding compliance into business models in a way that fosters innovation and operational excellence.
  • Collaboration opportunities: Building partnerships across the supply chain and inter-industry collaboration to co-create impactful solutions.
